Shug’s Coffee is a mobile coffee cart, and a lifelong dream of Mercedes Murrieta. It combines two of her absolute passions in life: brewing a really good cup of coffee and keeping local public school performing and visual arts programs alive. Shug’s mobile coffee cart travels to school art and music events and serves coffee and fun drinks for teachers, parents, and students to raise funds for their programs. Shug’s goal is to support music and art teachers in our Arizona communities to help them easily access and acquire the tools they need to bring music and the arts to all students in their schools, starting with Title 1 schools in need and spreading throughout PHX.
